Being that IOS users are about, or have been experiencing a flood of App updates, I thought I would take a minute to discuss. I often see companies missing opportunistic touch points with customers. One example of this is the application update. The majority of the [Whats New] messaging is about “Bug Fixs & Performance Updates”. Seize the moment. If a customer taps on [Whats New] they either have a problem that they are hoping is resolved, looking for new features, or some additional information from the product manager. At a minimum direct them to your web site as a call to action or take the moment to introduce some humor to your brand.
